eing a lawyer is more than just a
Bprofession. It is a way of life. The legal profession consists of many different
ways of being able to practice law. The individual
personality of each lawyer influences the type of
lawyer one is.
When someone is looking for a lawyer for a
specific matter, apart from looking for a
professional, he/she is looking for a person with
particular qualities. In my opinion, important
qualities are empathy (in order to understand the
needs and worries of the client), theoretical and
practical knowledge (broad knowledge thanks to
a large, supportive team and structure; an
important, established, well known and strong
Firm), vocation for this profession (it is a
pleasure to practice law in order to help people)
and have that “spark” (and charisma) to achieve,
with all the abovementioned, the best and most
convenient results for our clients. In many cases
this “spark” is innate, and must flow through
ones veins.

Not satisfied with simply seeing things as they
are and then just ask “why?” but seeing things
that can be achieved and ask “why not?” Not to
engage in copying and repeating things without
thinking, but being original, going one step
further than the others, to be the innovator and
for the rest to simply copy you.
Because with thorough theoretical training, with
vocation and the spirit of sacrifice, being
innovative and original, seeing things that others
couldn’t see, and asking oneself “why not?” and
having the personality and conviction to take that
new step that others have never taken, will
always allow you to be one step ahead.
Although others will copy you and then take the
same steps, this does not mean that they have
your legs (your mind… your genetics), because
your mind is already planning the next step and
is not on the one that has been copied. Because
your mind, your genes can never be copied and
that will always place you apart from copies;

because those who copy only prove that their
minds are far behind those of the originals (who
had the mind and personality to see things before
and from a different perspective and knew how to
apply them); because they can only copy the act
itself that was previously imagined and created
by an original mind; an original mind that will
continue to take even more original steps by
itself. The mind of he who copies will always
have to wait for the innovator, for the one who
sees ahead, and then acts trying to copy … with
their mind of someone who simply copies others
and never being original or innovative.
